A PAEADE OF ENTIRE HORSES Will be held (under the auspices of the, above Society) at Temuka, on THURSDAY, 10th OCTOBER PROX., In Marshall’s Paddock, When the following Prizes will be offered z for competition : PROGRAMME. (From the Society’s Funds). Class No. I.—For the best Thoroughbred Stallion on the ground : A prize of £2 2s. Class No. ll.—For the best Roadster Stallion : £2 2s. Class No. lll.—For the best Draught Stallion : £2 2s. In addition to the above, the undermentioned gentlemen offer private prizes in the classes as follows : Class I.—For the best Thoroughbred Stallion on the ground suitable for getting weight-carrying hacks : Mr A. Ensor, a prize of two guineas. Class ll.—For the best Roadster Stallion on the ground : Mr R. A. Barker, a prize of two guineas. Class 3.—For the best Draught Stallion on the ground : Mr John Paterson, a prize of two guineas. All Entries must be made with the undersigned before 7 p.m. on MONDAY, the 7th October.
