Inquest at Eltham. An adjourned inquest into the death of Percy Leonard Death, aged 53 years, was lield at Eltham yesterday. The coroner returned a finding in accordance with the medical evidence givcn by Dr. W. F. Fogg, medical superintendent of the Hawera liospital, after a post-mortem examination, that death was caused by coronary thrombosis. Satisfactory Response. A highly satisfactory response has been reeelved at Stratford to the appeal for books for the armed forces, according to the librarian, Mr. C. S. Kelly. Mr. Kelly eaid the response was gratifying considering the number that liad been given in previous drives. The proportion of new or modern books was reported to be small, and the condition of all the books lianded in was fair.
