Accommodation For 250 Recruits in W.A.A.C. Camp

Press Assn. Wellington, Sept. 1. Before the end of this month it is expected that a camp now in the course of construction for the Women's Army Auxiliary Corps in the Central Military District will be in full occupation. The authorities are getting a staff together for the camp, which will be in the nature of a reception and training centre for women and girls for the army. It will possess all the amenities and facilities of a modern army camp. Accommodation is planned for 250 recruits to be posted to units for which they are most suited. so that the special capabilities of each may be exploited to the maximum.
