Sympathy Acknowledged

The Governor-General, Sir Cyril Newall, to-day received the following telegram from Queen Mary in reply to his message of sympathy in the death of the Duke of Kent dispatched to Her Majesty: "Sincerest thanks for your most kind message on behalf of the Government and peoples of New Zealand. Mary R."
