Hawera
Miss M. Collins returned to Hawera last week after visiting Inglewood. _ Mrs. P. D. Smith, Taumarunui, returned to the King Country yesterday after spending a few days at Hawera. Mrs. H. Taylor, New Plymouth, spent a few days at Hawera. Mrs. Young, Wanganui, visited Hawera for the week-end. Mrs. Powell, Normanby, has been visiting Mrs. Alvis at Stratford. Mrs. J. Blyth spent a holiday at Chateau Tongariro. Miss M. Cahill, Stratford, was a visitor to Hawera last week. I Miss Athalie Monaghan left yesterday to continue her nursing training at the New Plymouth hospital. Mrs. Carmody, Wanganui, is staying with her mother, Mrs. F. P. Monaghan. Mrs. W. A. Duckworth and her daughter, Mrs. J. G. Elliot, Feilding, who has been staying with her, returned from New Plymouth last week. Miss W. Trim spent a few days at New Plymouth last. week. Miss Cooper, Palmerston North, is the guest of Mrs. Murdoch. Mrs. L. Bluett has returned from a short visit to New Plymouth.
