Bigamy Admitted In Palmerston North Court

Press Assn.

Palmerston N., Last Night

Bigamy was admitted in the Magistrate's Court to-day by Wallace Shing, aged 41 years, labourer, who was first married in August, 1930, at Wanganui by a registrar, and who went through a form of marriage at Otaki before a registrar in February, 1941. An unusual feature of the case was the admission by the second woman that she knew Shing was already married. There were no children by either marriage. The first wife secured % divorce in June, 1942, and had now remarried.
