Savings Quotas Gained

National savings quotas were gained last week by six offices in the New j Plymouth postal district. They were ; New Plymouth, Awakino-Mokau, Ha- j wera, Manaia, Urenui and Waitara. New Plymouth will carry £411 over into this week's quota. There are 1270 national savings accounts opened in the New Plymouth Savings Bank and the amount deposited for the week was £646 12s ld, making a total amount on deposit of £87,081 6s 3d. I There are 150 groups operating. The ' amount deposited for the week in the ! 2225 accounts was £99 17s 9d. The total , amount on deposit is £15,246 11s 9d.
