Soldiers' Comforts
Goods dispatched by the Eltham women's soldiers' comforts committee to the patriotic fund board this year, it was reported at a committee - meeting, included: 393 scarves, 158 pairs of mittens, 312 balaclavas (the quota in each in- . stance being 190), 13 pullovers, 219 pairs of socks, three pairs of kneecaps, four skullcaps and 83 hussifs.
