Dickie, Waverley, has been visiting Hawera as the guest of Mrs. Maurice Meuli. . Mrs. A. Webster, Tangarakau, is the guest of her mother-in-law. Mrs. JH. E. Webster. „ Miss M. Mackay, New Plymouth, is staying with Mrs. A. K. Fyson at 'Glenholm." Mrs. C. Dalton, Wellington, and Miss Betty Dalton are visiting Mrs. L. V. Apel. Miss C. G. Robertson is spending a holiday at Palmerston North. Mrs. D. Jury is visiting Palmerston North. , Mrs. Stanley Oliver, Wellington, who visited Hawera, has returned. Mrs. E. Culford Bell, Auckland, has returned north. Miss Lorraine Major, Hastings, has returned to Hawkes Bay. Miss Peggy Clayton has left to spend a week at Palmerston North, Mrs. W. Holder, Auckland, is visiting Mrs. J. V. Shaw. Mrs. Dowling has returned to New Plymouth, Mrs. Tom Hurley, Tokaanu, is visiting Hawera. Misses Merle and Verena Faigweather have left to spend a fortnight at New Plymouth. Miss Helen Young, Auckland, is; spending a vacation with her mother, Mrs. A. M. Young. Mrs. N. Watson and her daughter, Miss Pamela Watson, Morrinsville, ha.ve arrived to spend a holiday with Mrs. Watson's mother, Mrs. Seed. Miss Mary Parker, Auckland, is staying with her mother for the holidays. Miss J. Trotter. Auckland, is spending the holidays with her mother^ Mrs, C, G. Trotter. Miss G. McCullock, Wanganui', is the guest of Mrs. A. Leyden. Club Dance. More than 200 persons were .present at a dance held by the social copimittee of St. Mary's combined boys and girls' club, Mr. C. Frampton was secretary. and master of ceremonies, Monte Carlp dances were won by Miss Jean Polson and partner, and Mr. C, Frampton and partner. Mesdames D. B. Malcolm, J. A. Duffill, Rouse, F. H. Bernard and C. Walshe were chaperons.
