New Running Record

Rec. 6.30 p.m. Stockholm, Aug. 29. Gundar Haegg covered 3000 metres in 8m 1.2s, beating Kalaerne Jonsson's 1941 record of 8m 9s. Haegg in under two months has established new times for the mile, two miles, 1500 metres and 2000 netres.
