Opunake Next-of-Kin Club

At the August meeting of the Opunake next-of-kin club, which is run by members of the women's section of the R.S.A., Mrs. T. N. Watt, presided. A programme, arranged by Mrs. Boyd and Mrs. Tosland, was: Vocal trios, the Misses Hickey; songs, Miss Joan Mulligan; national dances, Miss Lily Walsh; piano solos, Miss Velma Hickey. Accompaniments were played by Mr. Emmett McCann. A competition was won by Mrs. Bailpy. Hostesses were Mrs. Coupe and Mrs. Otene. Souvenirs from Syria were shown, and photographs from other parts of the war zone were displayed.
