Mr. A. F. Helleur, manager of the New Plymouth branch of J. R. McKenzies Ltd. for the past three years, has accepted an appointment as manager of the Palmerston North branch. Mr. D. A. Highet, Wellington, has arrived to take charge of the New Plymouth branch. Captain Crawford, Wellington, second in command of District Headquarters Traffic Control Corps, is visiting New Plymouth for the purpose of organising with the army authorities the system of traffic control for the Taranaki area in the event of an emergency.
