Railway Revenue At Hawera Station Continues To Rise

Rever.ue from all sources of outwards traffic at the Hawera railway station for the lour weeks ended August 14 was £841 greater than for the corresponding period of last year. Passengers paid £1129 in fares, an increase of £241, while goods netted £1388, compared with £806 last year. Parcels realised only £1 more than last year and miscellaneous goods £3 more. Revenue from all sources amounted to £2608, compared with £1J67.
