New Anti-Inflation Programme For America
Rec. 10.5 p.m. Washington, Aug. 26. President Roosevelt announced at his Press conference that the forthcoming steps to control the cost of living would include the stabilisation of farm prices and wages. A new anti-inflation programme would prpbably be announced in a radio broadcast message to Congress around Labour Day. The President added that the American people must expect tough sacrifices.
