Waitara Fire Brigade

Results of a one-man coupling event for ■Dxiliary members of the Waitara Fire Brigade are: — Fireman J. Jenkins 1, Fireman L. Lethbridge 2, Fireman L. Andrews 3 Fastest time, Fireman I. Murray. The examiners were Superintendent C Limmer and Foremans L. Andrews and W. Terrill. The time-keeper was Mr. Roy Yardley. Prizewinners at a euchre party organised by the Waitara Cyele and Athletic Club were: Mrs. Faigan 1. Mrs. Pennington 2; Mr F. Horsup 1, Mr. F. Olsson 2. Dances by pupils of the Convent school. Waitara, were features of the annual fancy dress ball. Music was played by Mesdames Finnerty, Spring and Miss Badiey, Aftercoon tea was served by parents.
