About £32 was raised for patriotic funds by a successful concert given by the inmates of the New Plymouth .Reformatory on Monday mght and last night. .... i A good attendance of visitors was welcomed by Mr. T. Stocker, superintendent, who said that previously the concerts had been well supported, £280 havmg been raised to date. , . . 'Cello solos and a clever conjuring act were very well received. A play for four characters entitled "The Monkey's Paw" was excellently cast, the setting and off-stage effects showing mgenuity on the part of the producers. The performance is to be repeated tonight.
