Holm is visiting Welling^Miss Pat Davidson ari'ived last night from Dunedin to spend the training college vacation with her mother, Mrs. A. L. Davidson. Miss D. N. Allan and Miss M. J. Fearn, left yesterday to spend the school vacation at Wellington. Miss E. L. Dowling is visitmg Hawera for the annual competitions festival. Pre-wedding Party. Friends of Miss Cathryo Mitchell, who is to be married shortly, gathered recently at the home of Mrs. S. H. Norris at a kitchen evening in _ her honour. Games, cards and competitions were held. Miss Mitchell received gifts for her future home.
