A concert, comprising mamly items by scholars, was given in the Whiteley Hall, New Plymouth, in aid of Sunday school funds. items included: — Biblical and a humorous play, Miss Todd's class; sketch (story without words), Mrs. N. Hill and Don Gillespie: Maorl songs with poi effects, glrls of Rangiatea M4ori Girls' College; cOnjurlng, Mr. F. P. Grundy;. recitations;, Daphne Avery, Murray J£nsen, Miirie Bulrper, Norma Jury, Margaret Dlxoh, Valerie Grundy; versespraking item, girls of Miss E. Marsden s class; action songs, Lola Harle and Valerie Hoskin; solo, Doreert Hewson; violin solo, N'eil Roberts; tap dance, F.dna Glenn.
