The. Rev. J. D. McL. Wilson will leave New Plymouth for Wellington this morning to spend several days at Trentham as a lecturer at the chaplains' school. Mr. Val Duff, secretary of the Automobile Association (Taranaki), has returned to New Plymouth after attending the North Island Motor Union conferCnce at Wellington. Mr. J. A. Bush, Marton, has retired from the position of president of the Dominion Federated Sawmillers' Association after occupying that position for nine years. He has been. elected the first life member of the association and has been appointed honorary associate president in recognition of the service which he has given to the industry. Mr. L. E. H. Baigent, Nelson, vice-president for seven years, has been elected president, and Mr. K. C. A. Carter, Ohakune, vicepresiderit.
