Children's Patriotic Shop Day. A band of 15 6mall children who have formed themselves into a club called the S.S.C. organised a patriotic shop day at Hawera yesterday. _ Many of the goods were donated, the children making many novelties which found a ready sale. The shop was in the charge of Mesdames T. W. Allsopp and J. H. Horton, assisted by the children. A copper trail held in the streets also brought good resuits. The profit at the end of the day was more than £30.
