Otakeho Euchre Party
A euchre party and dance was organised by the Otakeho Women's Division of the Farmers' Union, when extras were played by Misses A. O'Dea, E. Walker and Trooper J. Dunn. Prizewinners at cards were: Mrs. Ruskin ,1, Mesdames E. Putt and A. Ross equal 2 ; Mr. M. Berry 1, Mr. G. Nickel 2 ; points prizes, Mrs. Mudford and Mr. M. Berry. Mr. and Mrs. Les. Mudford, Rongotea, and Miss Leta Mudford, Hawera, were guests of , Mrs. L. Mudford. Mrs. W. H. Corkill visited Wanganui recently to attend a Plunket conference. Miss E. Ross was the guest of Miss Dorothy Shearer, Okaiawa. Miss N. Cromptdn, Manaia, was the guest of Miss Margaret Mudford. •
