Taranaki Club Presentation.
On behalf of the members of the Taranaki Club a presentation was made to Mr. H. L. Kirkby on the occasion of his marriage. The president, Mr. P. E. Stainton. referred to both his adminlstrative and social services over 20 years. Books for the Merchant Navy. The residents of Opunake have sent a fine collection of -books to the Mayor of New Plymouth, Mr. E. R. C. Gilmour, for distribution to ships of the merchant navy.
