White Slave Traffickers Arrested In America

Rec. 9.30 p.m. New York, Aug. 19. A Cleveland message states that a Federal grand jury indicted seven persons in a Government move to smash one of the largest white slave rings in the country's history which has netted more than 1,000,000 dollars in the past two years. Most of the ring's houses were located near war plants in cities such as Little Rock, Miami and Cleveland and Akron. The district attorney described those indicted as killers and dangerous gangsters with criminal records.
