Sawmill Units.
"Creation of a separate unit is absurd, said Mr. P. E. Stainton, district controller, when the E.P.S. co-ordination committee for North and Central Taranaki was written to by the conservator of forests concerning the creation of sawmills as E.P.S. units. Arrangements had already been made for supplies of all timber likely to be required, Mr. Stainton said. The meeting opposed separate sawmill units and decided to ask the provincial executive to support the protest,
