Campaign Methods Grow more: Waste Less Where Leakages Occur
THERE are two ways by which increased production can be accomplished. The first is by increased effort and the second the elimination of waste. Waste is a word with a wide meamng. It does not always imply that a commodffy is .rendered usdess. It does include the reduction of the value of a product through ignorance or carelessless in manufacture and m treatment. . In the cheese industry waste has occurred through unaue shrinkage, cracked rinds permitting mould growth and m such matter of fact concerns as the pamtmg of dairy factory walls and the provision of cans for conveying the milk from the farm to the factory. 1
