jewellery worth £250

Greymouth, Sept. 27. Watches and rings valued at from £250 to £300 were stolen ln a smash and grab raid on the jeweller's store of John Tennent, Mawhera Quay, early this morning. A plate glass show window was smashed sufflciently to allow the insertion of an arm to reach trays containing expenslve wristlet watches and signet rings. Cheaper articles of jewellery in the window were not touchcd.
