DANES PAY HOMAGE

BIRTHDAY OF JHEIR KING Rugby, Sept. 26. To-day being the blrthday of King Cliristian of Denmark, Danes living in Britain flttingly celebrated the occasion at London. The Danish Club was the scene of the biggest meeting, when 300 Danes took tlie opportunity to pay homage to the King. They listened to speeches by the Danish Ambassador and the club chalrman. A special tribute to His Majesty was made by M. Benediktesson, Icelandia Charge d'Affaires, who brought the country's greetings and stressed that Iceland had not forgotten her King.
