Tararua Golden Locks, V.H.C., the dam I of Owl Supreme, has a C.O.R. 5151b. fat at three years. being also closely related to Tararua Silver Dawn, V.H.C. 7421b. fqt, and Silver Ring. V.H.C. 7121b. fat. Brookside Rona (V.H.C. 5441b. fat at four years) and Brookside Molly (frorn the sarhe female line), the dams of the two-year-old and yearling respectively, are ! both by Ku Ku Prince Owler (Owler of | Puketapu — Ku Ku Princess, C.O.R. GOjlb. j fat), sire of twelve classified daughters. The other two yearlings. Gold Victor ancl Hespcrus, are by Hazelwood Marvel, a full brother to Hazelwood Pearl, junior two-year-old bronze medallist, 50j1d. fat (305 days), by Meon Nemesis, one of Sam's best sons. He is carrying on the typical Dreaming Sam strain. Marvel s dam, Hazelwood Glitter ^ closely related to Riverdale Waif, C.O.R. 8841b. fat.
