Beau [deal's dam Punga Nui Marseillaise, 71)5 lbs. fat at 4 -ears and a great show winner, so that Beau Ideal is a grandson of Ivandale Higblander on both sides. The dams of the bulls are full of the best imported strains, all having good butterfat records over more than one year' Merivale Heni (the dam of Merivale Caesar) who is of the Ka"ie strain as Ivondale Silver Rainbow 9501bs. fat, has G H T records of 5551bs., 6401bs. (top pedigree in the Taranaki association), and 5151bs. fat. The two-year-old Menvale Rangitira is out of Merivale Desire (four records up to 5001bs. fat) a granddaughter of the great Tiki Twylish. The other two wearlings are by Brae ram Master, a paternal grandson of the noted Brampton Dreaming Sam. sire of "2^ C.O.R. daughters up to 7411bs. fat, and a maternal grandson of Eminent Fontaine 25 C.O.R. daughters up to 6721bs fat.
