TAXI DRIVER FOR TRIAL
Wellington, Sept. 26. William McCready, taxi-driver, who elected to be tried by jury, was committed by- Mr.. A. M. Goulding, S.M., to the Supreme Court for trial on a charge of having in his possession 50 copies of "The People's Voice" with a view to facilitating the publication of a subversive statement. Bail was allowed.
