ARRIVAL OF CLIPPER

LAST HOP FROM NOUMEA
Auckland, Last Night. After an uneventful trip from Noumea the Honolulu clipper of Pan American Airways arrived at Auckland at 2.29 p.m. on the conclusion of the flight from San Francfcco. The flight was carried out according to st'-edule and without incident, stated Captain. Barrows, who 'toas in command. The trip from Noumea was covered in 6 hours 59 minutes, which was stated to be well within the average scheduled time. Seven of the nine passengers are bound for Australia and most of them will leave by the Tasman Empire Airways flying-boat on Saturday morning. The passengers Vere: Mr. Keith Office, Australian counsellor at Washington; Mr V. Jurkens, . American journalist; Mr. W. Rothfield, Melbourne; Mr. C. McKay, Melbourne; Mr. Floyd Soto, Los Angeles; Mr. Ellis Wackett, Melbourne; Mr. F. • J. Cordall, San Francisco; and Messrs. R. M. Wilson and P. W. Farley, two students at Yale university. The clipper is scheduled to leave on Saturday morning on her return flight to San Francisco, and her passengers are likely to include several who are due to arrive on the Tasman flying-boat from Sydney to-morrow afternoon.
