WAVERLEY

Mrs. W. Hegirtbotham was # visitor to Wellington to attend the spring meeting of the Wellington Trotting Club at Hutt Park on Saturday. Mrs. F. Sheppard left on Thursday to spend several weeks' holiday in Hawkes Bay and Palmerston North. Miss Roservere. from the South Island. is visiting Waverley and is the guest of her sister, Mrs. G. McGregor. Mrs. D. Lupton, who has been visiting relatives at Eltham, has returned home. Miss Maismore, who has been visiting Waverley as the guest of Mrs. W. R. S. Brewer, "Waihaw," has returned to Auckland. Mrs. R. Clarke, Miss J. Sheppard, Miss D. Johnstone and Miss G. McConville were visitors to Hawera on Tuesday. Mrs. Tarrant, snr., Hawera, is on holiday at Waverley as the guest of Mrs. C. Tarrant. Miss K. Cleary, who has been spending several weeks at Palmerston, with her sister, Miss E. Cle.ry, will return to Waverley on Saturday. Mrs. R. S. Haw and Mrs. S. C. Wicks were Waverley visitors to Patea. Mrs. B. Rodgers, who has been the guest of Mrs. D. Lupton for several days,. has returned to Wellington. Miss B. Wilson is in the Patea hospital. Mrs. Wickham, Dominion president of the W.D. F.U., visited Waverley for the Waverley branch's birthday party.
