AMATEUR CYCLING
STRATFORD CLUB RACE The Stratford Amateur Cycling Club will hold a special invitation road cycling race to-morrow, commencing al 2 p.m. A strong team of New Plymouth club riders has entered, and it is expected that competition will be keen. The course will measure three laps and will consist of a circuit of the. Beaconsfield Road block. The handicaps are announced as follows: I. Peters, J. Cox, H. Lewis, E, Scott (New Plymouth), K. Stevens, A, Ludlam (Stratford) scr.; G. Bowen: Rowlands . 1m 20s, G. Stewart, W. Eastman 4m; H. Turner, S. Clenner 5£m; C Cooper, N. Cooper, J. Shaw (New Plymouth), 6m 15s; K. Ludlam 11 l-3s; Webt (Stratford). 12m; Batten (New Plymouth: 14m; Landon (Stratford) 15m.
