Nazification of Norway was announced by the German commissioner, who said political parties would be suppressed. Withdrawal From Dakar. General de Gaulle's forces withdrew from before Dakar when it was apparent a major operation would be necessary. Not Wanted Back. His plant in Germany has been "»so badly battered by bombs that an American manufacturer says he does not want it back. Wide Web of Manoeuvre. Events at Dakar must be viewed as part of a wide web of Axis manoeuvre from- Africa to Indo-China, says a British paper.
