okato club closing day trophies presented The official closing of the Okato Golf Club took place last week-end. Best carcLs in a Canadian foursome over nine holes were: E. Honeyfleld and Mrs. Wadsworth 43 — 12 — 31, H. Paul and Mrs'. Eustace 44—11—33, W. McCarty and Mrs! Chong 49—15—34, A. Heibner and Miss McCarty 45-11-34, T. Busing and Miss Lilley 43—9—34, B. , McCarty and Miss Gray 49 — 15 — 34, W. Julian and Mrs. Corbett 44—9—35, C. Putt and Mrs. Moffitt 47-12—35. . Competitions resulted: Women s driving, Miss K. Lilley; women's approaching, Mrs. Bradbury; men's drivmg, H. Paul; men's approaching, H. A. Moffitt. Before presenting the trophies the president, Mr. D. A. Fox, extended a welcome to visitors and briefly reviewed the season's activities. He paid a special tribute to the work of the greenwardens, Messrs. \N. and C. Putt. Mr. E.
