McLEOD CUP FINAL WHAREHUIA-TE POPO WINS The McLeod cup, which is open for competition among schools in the Tarariaki education district having an attendance of less than 200 pupils, has been won this year by Wharehuia-Te Popo school Rugby team, which, in the provincial final at Inglewood yesterday, defeated Moturoa school, the northern winner, by 30 points to 6. Wallace Cameron scored six tries, converted three and kicked a goal from a mark and Lind scored a try for Whare-huia-Te Popo. Austin scored a try and Casperson kicked a penalty goal fbr Moturoa.
