PROMISING MAIDEN
Though Aberdovey has failed when confidently expected to race well, he is reported to have made good progress of late. He figures in the Maiden at Paeroa on the minimum, and as he usually begins smartly he may be prominent at the finish. Aberdovey is a three-year-old colt by Cambria, the sire of Bronwen and Verulam and is trained at Takanini by E. Pope.
