CLOUDY WEATHER

Wellington, Last Night. The weather will continue fine in the east and north, states the official forecast. It will be rather cloudy from Taranaki southwards, with some isolated drizzle or light rain. Tejnperatures will be mild. Patches of coastal fog are probable, more especially on the east coast of the South Island. A weak disturbance is located in the north Tasman Sea, hut otherwise pressure is high from New South Wales to beyond the North Island. Light to moderate northerly winds, freshening at times about and south of Cook Strait, are likely. Latef winds will tend to be north-easterly in the north. Seas will be slight or moderate.
