Once again filmgoers will thrill to the singing music of the Sons of the Pioneers. five real cowboys who sing and play their numbers in "Call of the Rockies," under the direction of Bob Nolan. This unique quintet will appear with Charles Starrett and Iris Meredith in the latest Columbia thriller which brings the blazing action of the range warfare days in the early West to the screen. Adolphe Menjou in the top role, supported by Dolores Costello and Daniel Green, "King of the Turf" tells a story of a broken-down race-track figure who is rapidly sliding down the ladder from success until an accidental meeting with his joclcey son (played by young Green) and their subsequent luck with an unknown colt_ " they huy leads them once again to he kings of the turf. The film, dirccted by Albert Green, has many famous and exciting backgrounds, including world-famous race tracks, jockey and turf clubs, swanky bars, casinos and cafes, and fashionable resort colonies.
