DANCE AT WAIONGONA
A dance organised by the Waiongona branch of the W.D.F.U. in aid of soldiers' parcels and Women's Division bomber fund wns well nttonded. The sum of E15 was realised. A bring and huy stall in charge of Mrs. Pcterson and Miss J. McGonnell did good business. A cake donated by Mrs. G. Atkinson was won by Miss M. Clough. Prizes for Monte Carlos were donated by Miss D. Hine and Mesdames Clough ancl Wright. Winners of Monte Carlos were Miss J. Murray and Mr. D. Crone, New Plymouth. Miss M. Marr and partner and Miss J. McGonnell and Mr. F. Fussell. A statue waltz was won by Mr. Lovell and Miss J. Marr. Music was played by Mr. N. Reesby, with an extra by Mr. R. Brett. The master of ceremonies was Mr. R. Fussell and the doorkeeper was Mr. F. Gill.
