WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

Kohi: There was an attendance of 29 members at the monthly meeting. Members undertook to supply contents for four Christmas parcels for soldiers. It was also decided to spend £1 on material for a Christmas gift in response to the leper appeal. A competition for the best jar of marmalade was won by Mrs. Gulliver, with Mrs. Waterland second and Miss L. , Powell third. Afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mrs. Lennox and Mrs. Fraser.
