I TARANAKI MEMBERS MEETj
The annual meeting of the Taranaki branch of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand was held at Stratford on Monday. Mr. Allan Evans, president, being in the chair. There was a representative attendance of members from all parts of Taranaki. The annual report and balance-sheet disclosed a satisfactory position, especially as regards membership, practically all tliose engaged in the profession in Taranaki now being members. A vote of sympathy was extended to Mr. L. A. Nolan. New Plymouth, in his recent bereavement. Officers elected were: President, Mr. C. R. Finnerty (Stratford); vice-presidents, Messrs. Athol Grant and Evans (Hawera), H. U. Whitcombe and N. A. Hill (New Plymouth); general and executive committee, Messrs. ,T. R. G. Sutherland and F. H. Barnitt (New Plymouth), A. E. Trask and G. R. Ranford (Hawera) and M. McDonald (Stratford); conference delegate, Mr, Evans; secretary and treasurer, Mr. V. J. Stratton (Hawera); auditor, Mr. F. P. D. Jefferies (Stratford).
