NOW OR NEVER
NAZIS LAST CHANCE London, Sept. 9. The Air Ministry has announced its belief that the war will virtually be decided in September, says the Daily Mail. It is expected that the present raids against London will reach their peak wilhin a fortnight. If Hitler does not v/in mastery of the air by October 1, the Royal Air Force believes he will postpone or abandon any attempt at invasion. It is believed. says the Daily Mail, that the German High Command has told Marshal Goering it is a case of "now or never" if his air force is to smash the Royal Air Force. The Air Ministry has information that Germany has called in planes from Norway to participate in the battle against Britain. The main purpose of the present raids is still to force the Royal Air Force to bring out its fighter strength and to cripple British aerodromes. Both these objects have failed. The fighter reserve is still intact and German pilots are being sent over to Britain three times a day.
