Rotarian Ian Prime, Napier, was a visitor at the weekly luncheon of Ihe New Plymouth Rotary Club yesterday. Dr. R. A. Shore, director of the hospital.s division of the Public Health Department. who visited New Plymouth during the week-end for a conference with members of the Taranaki Hospital Board, returned to Wellington yesterday. The retirement of Mrs. Law from the position of nurse at the New Plymouth Bbys' High School was reported to the board last night by the headmaster, Mr. W. H. Moyes, who expressed appreciation of her faithful service for a period of 18 years. The board endorscd Mr. Moyes' appreciation and decided to give Mrs. Law three months' leave.
