WORK OF PIERROTS
ACTIVITIES PLANNED Proposals that the New Plymouth Pierrots should co-operate with a Stratford committee in organising a patriotic street day at Stratford in November were briefly referred to at a meeting of the pierrots yesterday. No decision about a date was possible, but it was indicated that the pierrots would give full support. Mr. H. Moon was appointed convener of the pierrot sub-committee for Sunday night concerts and a nigger minstrel troupe. It was reported by the chair"1AW.VA\VWWWVW."AV.VAV

The major prizes were a motor-car, a section at Vogeltown and a suite of furniture. Others included a wristlet watch, a golf bag, free milk, a chiming clock and free permanent waves. The pierrots' next big effort will be a gala day at Pukekura Park on November 25, the King's Birthday holiday. In the meantime, however, they will hold a street night at New Plymouth on October 4, with a concert party patrolling Devon Street.
