A captain v. secretary match was plaved at the week-end by members of the Sentry Hill Golf Club, the captain s team winning by six matches to two. Results, captain's team mentioned first, ^L^ Billows and F. Sampson lost to J. Sleeman and S. Jones 3 and 2, F. Lemm and A. Sampson beat L. Hoffmann and K. Ropiha 3 and 2, E. R. Byers and W. Campbell lost to A. Kasper and D. Parkm 5 and 4, H. Cole beat A. McNeill (junior championship match) 6 and 5, Mrs. Lemm ■and Miss Verry beat Miss Roberts and Mrs. Campbell 5 and 3, Miss V. Houston beat Miss L. Gorrie (senior championship final) 2 up, Mrs. F. Sampson beat Miss Adlam (junior championship final). F. Lemm had his handicap reduced from 22-17 to 20-15. Results of a men's stableford in conjunction were: F. Lemm 18-17— 35, H. Cole 21—12—33, D. Parkin 16—16—32, F. Sampson 19-11-30. , , The winner of a women s medal round played in conjunction with the captain v secretary match was Mrs. F. Sampson 96—30—66. Other cards were Mrs. Lemm 86—15—71, Miss Morey 99—27—72, Miss Houston 92-20-72, Miss Adlam 104 — 30— 74, Miss Doyle 107—33—74.
