WESTOWN SCHOOL FUNDS
There was again a splendid attendance at the flag five-hundred evening held by the Westown Home and School Association in the West End Bowling Club pavilion on Saturday night in aid of the school fund. Play was supervised by Messrs. G. B. Day and G. W. Turnbull. The prizes given by Mr. and Mrs. K. N. Andrews were won as follows: Winning table, Mesdames F. Sole and W. J. Anstis and Messrs. F. Sole and J. White; travelling flag, Mrs. Sarten and Messrs. Corkell, G. Wigley and P. Mason; consolation, Miss Cave and Mesdames Corkell, D. Hull and Mr. D. Hull; alarm clock prizes, Mesdames S. George (Tarata), F. W. Marsden and K. N. Andrews; special competition, Mrs. Simpson. Supper was served by Mesdames J. Garda, W. J. Darby, F. W. Marsden, G. Boswell, G. W. Turnbull and Gardiner.
