MANGAMINGI NEWS

A card party and dance organised by members of the Mangamingi Soldiers' Comfort Club was a success socially and financially. The women's prize was won by Mrs. G. H. Brown and the consolation prize went to Mrs. E. Boddie. In the men's sectipn the prize was won by Mr. W. Boddie and the consolation prize went to J. Mitchell. Dance music was played by Messrs. Nicholls and Hickey. Soldiers' Comfort Club members met at the home of Mrs. P. Hickey and a pleasant time was spent. A competition was won by Miss Lumsden.
