INGLESIDE AT AUROA

Despite inclement weather there was an excellent attendance at the annual ingleside arranged by members of the Auroa Highland Pipe Band. Proceeds are to be handed to the Auroa Soldiers' farewell committee. Dancing was enjoyed. Mr. W. Marr was master of ceremonies. Items were given by the Auroa Highland Pipe Band (Scottish selections), Maurice Davison (songs), Miss Peggy Sandford (Highland dances) and Misses Margaret Lawrence, Mangatoki, and Wilma Marr, Kaponga (tap duo). Accompaniments were played by Mrs. Attrill and Mr. C. Sturgeon.
