OLD WOMAN'S HOARD
WEALTH FROM DUST-BINS "Old Aunt Rashe," who for years earned what was thought to be a bare living by rummaging through New York's rubbish tins and selling her "pickings" to second-hand dealers, was found dead in her three-room flat at Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn, recently. And in the apartment the police fcund bank books showing deposits of 11,970 dollars, and a first mortgage worth 25,000 dollars. "Aunt Rashe," as the neighbours called her, was identified as Mrs. Rashe. Silverman, 65-year-old widow. She died, apparently, of natural causes. One of the dealers who used to buy her wares discovered the body when he visited her flat. The plaee was a veritable junk yard itself. The only piece of furniture in the apartment was a bed, but "Aunt Rashe" never used it. She always slept on the floor,
